DANTE BASCO

He's Prince Zuko. He's Jake Long. He's Rufio, opposite Robin William in Steven Spielberg's, "Hook!"

With a career spanning over two and a half decades, DANTE BASCO is a Hollywood actor who has become a cult classic and pioneering figure in Asian American cinema. He was first introduced in Steven Spielberg’s fairytale movie Hook, as “RUFIO”, the leader of the Lost Boys. He quickly jumped to leading roles like Newline’s Take the Lead, opposite Antonio Banderas, and The Debut, which became the voice of a Filipino American generation. 20th Century Fox executives were so mesmerized by the uniqueness of Dante’s look and ability that they gave him a development deal for his own series and he starred in a pilot for Touchstone/ABC, The Chang Family Saves the World, written and produced by John Ridley and directed by Paris Barclay. Ever versatile, he’s “JAKE LONG” in Disney’s animated series American Dragon: Jake Long as well as “Prince Zuko” in Nickelodeon’s phenomenal hit, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Born and raised in the City by the Bay, Dante started out breakdancing with his three brothers at the age of 8, calling themselves “The Street Freaks”. Quickly they became one of the top groups in San Francisco, opening for acts like Ice-T and Vanity and performing during half-time shows for the 49ers and the Oakland A’s.

Dante and his family moved to Los Angeles in the mid-80s where he started to work immediately. By the age of 16, Dante was fencing against Dustin Hoffman and flying with Robin Williams in Hook. He’s found success on the small screen as well on from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and recurring on Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and Moesha in the 90’s to prominent spots on Nash Bridges, Touched by an Angel, and Providence in the early 2000’s and hit shows today like CSI: Miami, Entourage and Hawaii Five-0.

A young man of many talents, Dante is the founder of on e of the largest weekly poetry venue in the country, “Da Poetry Lounge” in Los Angeles and he has also shared his spoken word poetry on Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Poetry Jam. He has also begun writing and producing his own features with his production company Kinetic Films, including Hang Loose, a (hilarious buddy) comedy with YouTube sensation KevJumba, winning the 2012 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival Special Jury Prizes for “Best Actor” and “Best Newcomer” respectively.

From breakdancing in the streets of San Francisco to starring in movies on the silver screen, Dante Basco has become one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood and truly an Asian American icon.

CRICKET LEIGH

Cricket is an accomplished voice actor, whose work includes video games (Red Faction II, Lost Planet: Colonies) and animation (MTV's “Celebrity Death Match”).

As “Mai” in Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, she became immortalized with fans everywhere!

In Film, Cricket starred in the Indie cult hit ‘The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down’, now on Netflix. She is a past Manhattan Monologue Slam Champ, writing and performing monologues all over L.A. & NY. Cricket is a BFA graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and studied at The Stella Adler Conservatory.

    WILLIAM KIRCHER

    One of New Zealand's most experienced and respected actors known for his roles in the blockbuster "The Hobbit" trilogy, William's acting career was launched on his graduation from Drama School at the age of eighteen. After a further two years as an apprentice he worked extensively throughout the country and, over the next twenty years, went on to appear in more than one hundred professional theatre productions . This was in parallel to a successful film & television career that saw William building a reputation as one of the most esteemed actors in the country.

    In the late 90's William shifted his focus away from acting toward production and executive management. He was engaged as a producer by UK television company Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment and was invited to head up Cloud 9's commercial division in 1999. This role saw William produce an award-winning short film, as well as many other corporate projects. He became a member of the Cloud 9 executive team with responsibility for managing public relations, media and communications. In 2006, 'Out Of The Blue' saw the welcome return of William Kircher to screen acting. William then continued his acting career with guest star roles in television features and series. Since mid-2000 William has also forged a reputation as a professional vocalist with successful sixties tribute act 'The California Dreamers'. In 2015 this dream came true, and California Dreamers performed in Hollywood with a high-profile Academy Awards party at the American Legion Hall.

    October, 2010 William was offered the principal cast role of the Dwarf 'Bifur' in "The Hobbit" trilogy. He went on to also land the motion-capture role of the troll, Tom, in the first Hobbit film. Since completing the trilogy in 2014, William's profile has skyrocketed. He travels around the world regularly working in the industry and is now based in Los Angeles as well as keeping a property in his hometown of Wellington, New Zealand.

    Vic has been acting for stage and screen since he was 8 years old, but his anime career started about fifteen years ago as Vega in Streetfighter II.     Chuck started acting in Anime in the roles of Garlic Jr. and Android 17 in DBZ. Since then he has voiced hundreds of characters including Hiei in YuYu Hakusho, Stein in Soul Eater, Kululu in Sgt. Frog, Mohji in One Piece, Shou Tucker in Full Metal Alchemist, Han in Blue Gender, Hiro in Shin Chan, Ashe in Black Butler, Reever in D. Gray Man, Hector in Glass Fleet, Yuichi in Initial D., Akai in Oh Edo Rocket, Melt in The Tower of Druaga, Adashino in Mushishi, Eric Nishijima in Darker Than Black, Havel in Trinity Blood, Austria in Hetalia and many more. He has been a writer on Hetalia, Sgt. Frog, Baccano, Spice and Wolf, and others.

    As a filmmaker Chuck has acted, produced, written or directed for Arbor Day - The Musical, The Troubadoors, The Fragility of Seconds, The Mechanical Grave, Odd Man Out among others. He began acting in Chicago at the Goodman Theater, Court Theater, Steppenwolf Theater after graduating from DePaul University and continues to work on stages in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Most recently he played Hugh Jameison in the movie Parkland, produced by Tom Hanks and starring Billy Bob Thornton and Paul Giamatti. He plays Colonel Kashoid in the upcoming AmeriGeddon and plays Dr. McCoy in Star Trek Continues. He plays Dean Hansen in Season 2 of American Crime.

    RICHARD COMELY

    Richard Comely worked as a sign painter, crest, embroidery and clothing designer, portrait artist and graphic designer before publishing Captain Canuck from Winnipeg in 1975 and Star Rider and The Peace Machine in 1981.

    Richard has taught drawing since 1989. He has written and illustrated for magazines and newspapers in Canada and The U.S. He wrote and illustrated three newspaper strips as well as children’s books, greeting cards and storyboards. He helped create a one year post graduate course in comic book scripting and illustration for Mohawk College. His Drawing from the Pros video was a best seller in the North American educational market.

    He is working with Fadi Hakim and others on an ongoing Captain Canuck comic series that began with a 2015 Free Comic Book Day edition, Captain Canuck: “Tell The Story” workbook, the original series compendium and Captain Canuck: “Enter The Crime Stopper” comic created in conjunction with Crime Stoppers and Mac’s Crime Busters. Richard is also involved in the Captain Canuck animated series, the second season of which is in production currently. An animated feature film is also in the works with a live-action being eyed for 2018. Richard and his wife Evelyn, married since 1975, have 8 children and eight grandchildren.

    ROLAND PARLIAMENT

    Roland Parliament has a place in the hearts of MANY fans: He directed the first 65 episodes of the DiC English dub of the SAILOR MOON series televised in North American. He also was the voice director of the series, bringing the characters you know and love to our televisions through the 90's! He was one of the greatest figures in bringing audiences the series they would love forever - and even introduce MANY fans to world of anime for the first time!

    In addition to voice directing, Mr. Parliament also did a little voice acting - he was the voice of geeky classmate, MELVIN, throughout, both, the DiC and Cloverway dubs of the series!

    He was also the author of "Sailor Moon Reflections," the tell-all, behind-the-scenes book of stories and anecdotes from working with talent like Terry Hawkes (Sailor Moon's voice) in bringing this legendary series to North America! Fans will have an opportunity to purchase - and have signed - this book at Fan World as they meet him live!

    Allegri is an American cartoonist, writer, and storyboard artist from Tucson, Arizona where she attended the University of Arizona. Allegri invented the gender-swapped characters from Adventure Time, "Fionna and Cake" and created "Bee and PuppyCat" the new popular web-series from Cartoon Hangover and the most backed animation series ever on Kickstarter!     JAMES ROLFE

    James Rolfe is the mastermind behind Cinemassacre.com, a popular internet destination for comedic, nostalgic and informative pop culture entertainment. He has created more than 300 short films in his career, and has become an icon in the gaming world with his hit web series “The Angry Video Game Nerd”. Thanks to his foul-mouthed and bitter Angry Video Game Nerd character, he has amassed an impressive cult following that has allowed him to turn his love of cinema into a career. He has recently released his first feature film and passion project, Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie to various media formats. In addition to the AVGN Movie and episodes, James tackles other topics such as movies and board games in his other series including James & Mike Monday’s, Board James, You Know What’s Bullsh*t? and the annual Monster Madness Marathon.

    Doug Walker, from www.ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com is best known for his character The Nostalgia Critic, who reviews bad movies and TV shows from childhood. He also plays the roles of That Guy with the Glasses, who answers the weirdest questions fans can come up with, Chester A. Bum, the hyper active bum who loves every movie ever made, and Dominic, a bar tender who has talked with the video game world's biggest stars.

    He's also noted for having a long standing "rivalry" with The Angry Video Game Nerd. His online shows average one to two hundred thousand viewers a week.

    His fans include the late Roger Ebert, Mike Nelson, Mara Wilson, Dante Basco, Paul Dini, Greg Sestero, Jim Butcher, Rob Paulsen, Maurice Lamarche, and the creators of Animaniacs. He's appeared on PBS, Entrepreneur Magazine, New York Times, 20/20, Rifftrax, and was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the 4th Annual Mashable Awards in 2010.     BRAD JONES

    Brad Jones is an actor/writer/director best known for portraying The Cinema Snob on thecinemasnob.com andthatguywiththeglasses.com. For the past 7 years, The Cinema Snob has comedically reviewed the cheapest and schlockiest of exploitation cinema. From shot on video masterpieces like "Black Devil Doll From Hell" to the most erotic in adult entertainment like "ET The Porno;" there's nothing too crazy for The Cinema Snob. Other series created by Jones include 80's Dan, a spoof of sitcoms from that magical decade, Brad Tries in which Brad samples various foods and drinks from around the world, and Midnight Screenings in which Brad and company review new release films directly after attending their pr-screenings.

    Brad has also wrote and directed 5 full length movies over the past 11 years, including the thrillers "Freak Out," "Cheap," and "Midnight Heat," the gamer comedy "Game Boys," and the campy crime comedy "The Hooker with a Heart of Gold." He has also starred in the psychological thriller "Paranoia," and the comedy "The Cinema Snob Movie" based on his popular series. Both films are directed by Ryan Mitchelle (TV's "Leverage," "Flash Gordon").

    TAMARA CHAMBERS

    Tamara is originally from California, the land of In N Out and Sunshine. She now lives in Chicago and despite the snow demons, she loves it. Tamara was recently brought onto Channel Awesome as an actress on Nostalgia Critic. She loves the NC crew and is pretty stoked about all the characters that are thrown at her (Sexy Dorothy anyone?). She graduated from The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, an acting conservatory, and has been heavily involved in the theater scene in Chicago since moving there in 2011. Tamara spends her time slinging jokes on any stand up comedy stage that will let her up and playing RPGs on her couch with her two cats (my cat, Ike, just really likes Fallout 3, ok?).


    MALCOLM RAY

    Malcolm Ray is an actor, on screen and as a voice over artist. His skills go beyond acting with professional training in film and video as his major at Columbia College Chicago. In the span of his Bachelor career at Columbia, Malcolm has successfully completed his Interdisciplinary Film Degree, been the casting director for a practicum film, interned at O'Connor Casting, and has begun a professional acting career. Malcolm effectively made use of his elective credits, taking courses in Columbia's Radio and Theatre Departments including; Voice Over, Voice Acting For Animation,Radio Production, Voice 1 and more. He is represented as talent at the Stewart Talent agency in Chicago. As a freelance actor, he is currently hired talent for the online production company "Channel Awesome", appearing long side Doug Walker in many episodes of "Nostalgia Critic"
